Who Is Waxing For?
-
Yes! It is perfectly safe to get waxed while pregnant, even up until birth. Aftercare may look slightly different since chemical exfoliation is limited, but waxing itself is safe throughout pregnancy.
-
No. You must be off Accutane for at least one year before receiving waxing services, as it significantly increases skin sensitivity and risk of injury.
-
Yes, it's completely fine! Just wear a tampon, cup, or disc to your appointment. Keep in mind you may be more sensitive during this time, so taking Tylenol 30 minutes before can help take the edge off.
-
Absolutely! We offer waxing services to all genders. When booking Brazilian services, please select the option that corresponds to your anatomy so we can allow the proper time and care for your appointment.
-
Most people with sensitive skin do great with waxing! We use professional grade wax formulated for comfort and minimal irritation. Let us know about any skin sensitivities when you book so we can make note of it before your appointment.
-
No. Please wait until your skin has fully healed before coming in. Waxing over sunburned skin can cause serious irritation and damage. As a general rule, avoid tanning or prolonged sun exposure on the area you plan to wax for at least 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.

We have plenty of clients with these conditions and they do great! We just ask that the area is not in an extreme flare up at the time of your appointment. If the area you'd like waxed is significantly inflamed or irritated, please wait until it calms down before coming in. When in doubt, send us a message and we're happy to help you figure out the best plan!
